I can really appreciate how she took the time to clarify that homosexuality or sexual preference has nothing to do with it. I wasn't even considering that while listening but I have heard idiotic comments along that thought process. More than likely, he was doing what he was taught to do as a child. There's a theory about how victims are selected by people like this. Basically, he targeted those children as a way of targeting the child he once was. When he was a defensive little boy he couldn't protect himself and he hated himself for it. Clearly not always the case when we look at other serial murders but it is fairly common for these murders to target someone they see as a version of themselves or a version of someone they hated ie; abusive parent, sibling, relative, family friend etc.. Lot of killers that target women had serious mommy issues

Integration can be a good goal. I think your bias is coming out at minute 25. It does not imply they are broken to try to integrate. Internal family systems therapy may be helpful.

🛑This was my life. ⚠️Pass due to triggers. I was abused on a scale only a few know as a child; locked in that type of closet, tortured, denied necessities, nutrition, education, only let out for forced hard labor on our rural farm surrounded by a barbwire electric fence/gate. A neighbor once snuck me to the OCPD where 6-7 officers laughed in our face & one said, “Take this girl home.” No hope. I prayed for someone to save me or God take me to Heaven. I was snuck an SAT prep book for closet & the exam. Christian College was my exit strategy. Abuser kidnapped me as an adult, abuse escalated to the point that when I was rescued the doctors didn’t know if I would survive. I had been brainwashed, gaslighted & manipulated to believe my abuser was my savior (cult). I was not mentally strong enough for all the court hearings even with #2 abuse center in the county help me. Abuser received no jail time. I received an IFP (restraining order) & placed in the victim protection program which included a new identity. I began to thrive with a lot of help until all the physical abuse caught up to me. The reason I keep pushing myself each day is the promise I made to myself as a child; when abuser gets old then I will to torture to death. Now patiently waiting for justice. I have nothing left to lose.

The first time I heard about this case I was disgusted at our justice system. Men who R-word little kids gets a maximum of 7 years. The little kid fights back and jail till they die. It's heart wrenching

But what did people wanted Sarah to do? She couldn't bare the trauma and torture anymore, so she was either going to self-exit or kill a monster who did almost all of the horrible things he could do to her. I wonder, would she be still found giulty if in some magical way that creep didn't die?

If you watch the 27 faces of Jane, it used to be on Hulu. Even just a few episodes will really help those who don’t understand DID be able to watch someone, a mother with children live her life with DID and how at times her disorder helps her be able to relate and take care of her kiddos. Truly a beautiful doc

DID is hell to live eith at times. You cant fake brain scans. I have poor spelling and grammar. A alter can do all that and she is so super smart. Growing up i thought everyone had lost time. I didnt learn it was just me till i was a teen and had a baby.

She did not get help from family, no one taught her other options. It was a way of self defense, that she did not intuitive like it usually happens. I think she tried to think of a way out before, that's why she didn't do it right away. She may have had hopes all that time that it will end somehow. But as I said, no one taught or helped her. BUT, the damage is done inside her (in several ways no one can even imagine) and the hatred in her against men may be beyond help now. Since she says herself, that she has no control over certain things she does, this could lead to another murder when someone triggers her with his actions. We heard in other videos before that there are people who developed hatred against the opposite sex from just trivial things and murdered kind of randomly. Theres no guarantee it won't happen again... That's why she will be kept in prison.

I follow the same train of thought I’ve seen in the comments that they may have stumbled across narco territory and/or saw something they weren’t supposed to. Wrong place, wrong time. Something with Nancy, either it be a kidnapping or a murder, and the other 11 are tight lipped and terrified. I have a hard time thinking that the 11 of them chose to kill her during the trip, and if they had, A) they wouldn’t have been able to hide of/dispose the body very well and she would have been found and B) one of them would have cracked under the guilt by now. Likely would have thrown the others under the bus etc.. for a lighter sentence. The departure immediately after she went missing is also very suspicious, and not they would have done if they had killed her. Seems much more like, “we need to leave NOW” after something had happened and they were panicking to leave asap. After all of the shock, they reported it to the police but can’t/won’t report what happened out of fear.

I worked with pretty decent people and I hated 회식-- it was sometimes on work nights, we would be out too late, and it sometimes felt like a game or joke to try and get us all super drunk.
